I have been teaching music for 22 years in the Chicago region.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Jazz Studies from DePaul University, and my Master’s in Music Education from VanderCook College of music.  I love teaching, and I love music!  I play lots of different instruments and come from a musical family.  I enjoy seeing the growth of my students as they also develop a love for music.  I strongly believe in giving students the opportunity to sing and play instruments as much as possible to foster their love of music and also develop their creativity.  I look forward to strengthening bonds with parents and the community to allow the arts to flourish.

He estado enseñando música durante 22 años en la región de Chicago.  Recibí mi Licenciatura en Educación Musical y Estudios de Jazz de la Universidad DePaul, y mi Maestría en Educación Musical de VanderCook College of Music.  Me encanta enseñar, y me encanta la música! Toco muchos instrumentos diferentes y vengo de una familia musical. Disfruto ver el crecimiento de mis alumnos a medida que también desarrollan un amor por la música. Creo firmemente en dar a los estudiantes la oportunidad de cantar y tocar instrumentos tanto como sea posible para fomentar su amor por la música y también desarrollar su creatividad. Espero fortalecer los lazos con los padres y la comunidad para permitir que las artes florezcan.
