My name is Joanna Ziarko and I am ecstatic to get to teach kindergarten, the grade I student
taught in and fell in love with! I graduated from Ball State University in 2016 with a B.S. in
Elementary Education and have been in the Acero network since 2018. I am passionate about
helping students grow into super readers as well as incorporating the arts into my classroom! I
believe every student is smart and every student is important, and I want them to believe that, as
well. I value strong communication between parents and teachers because we are stronger as a
team! Outside of teaching, I love traveling, singing, acting, writing, and hiking! Let’s make this
an amazing year!

Mi nombre es Joanna Ziarko y estoy encantada de poder enseñar en el jardín de infantes, ¡el
grado en el que enseñé y del que me enamoré! Me gradué de Ball State University en 2016 con
un B.S. en Educación Primaria y he estado en la red Acero desde 2018. ¡Me apasiona ayudar a
los estudiantes a convertirse en súper lectores, así como incorporar las artes en mi salón de
clases! Creo que cada estudiante es inteligente y cada estudiante es importante, y quiero que ellos
también lo crean. ¡Valoro la comunicación sólida entre padres y maestros porque somos más
fuertes como equipo! ¡Aparte de la enseñanza, me encanta viajar, cantar, actuar, escribir y hacer
