I am the 7th grade math and 8th grade science teacher.  This will be my first year teaching at Zizumbo.   I graduated from Illinois State University and Governors State University for Elementary Education with endorsements in Math, Middle School, and ESL.  I have taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade at Acero Carlos Fuentes for the last 9 years.  This will be my 11th year of teaching.  My goal is to create an individualized and student driven learning experience where students can gain the knowledge, skills, and habits to succeed.  I am looking forward to both engaging and challenging all of my students as we explore math and science together!  

Soy profesora de matemáticas de 7º grado y de ciencias de 8º grado. Este será mi primer año enseñando en Zizumbo. Me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de Illinois y de la Universidad Estatal de Gobernadores para Educación Primaria con especialización en Matemáticas, Escuela Intermedia y ESL. He enseñado 3°, 5° y 6° grado en Acero Carlos Fuentes durante los últimos 9 años. Este será mi undécimo año de enseñanza. Mi objetivo es crear una experiencia de aprendizaje individualizada e impulsada por los estudiantes donde los estudiantes puedan adquirir el conocimiento, las habilidades y los hábitos para tener éxito. ¡Espero involucrar y desafiar a todos mis estudiantes mientras exploramos juntos las matemáticas y las ciencias!
